*sigh*
Ok, somehow I have used almost all of my “extra” points for the WEEK (Weight Watchers). WTH??? I had a couple of days where I guess I really over did it. It’s very discouraging knowing I have the WEEKEND ahead of me, plus 2 more days before I get a new “bank” of points.
I guess I shouldn’t expect any weightloss this week. But, I have been exercising almost every day (really recommend Wii Fit, btw… guess I should do a post on that some time) and eating fairly healthy- just too big of portions, I guess. *sigh*
I NEED to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes, people! Someone kick me in the a$$ to get me exercising more- I think I better work up to an hour a day during the week if I really want to see results. It’s just hard to get an hour of uninterrupted time with a newborn and two older kids (I’m CONSTANTLY breaking up fights, sending them to their room, making meals, etc.) at home.

I received my Fit Flops yesterday morning and have not taken them off. I purchased the Isos black/grey. They look great and feel wonderful.
I do wish I had purchased the regular Fit Flop because the Isos sole is extremely comfortable but the construction of the top of the shoe is a lot stiffer which is hurting the top of my foot. But I just don’t want to send them back to wait another week to get another pair. I may have to give in and just go to Macys and purchase my second pair, one for day-to-day walking the other pair for when we go out since the Isos is very stylish.
Aaron will post a review ounce he has sometime to walk in his. But his are very nice and I love how they did the leather on it. It looks really nice on his foot.
Amber, I wish I knew why they aren’t working for you. Where you able to send them back? Did you get them in right size? Update us because I am very curious on what the end result will be.

Yeah I am so excited that I am not the only one updating this blog GO AMBER! What happened to Aaron and Meg???? (love you guys)
I was doing really well until last week. We went on vacation and I got of my diet and gained 9 pounds total back. How did I do that simply by eating crap!
So I am starting my diet and excise back up Wednesday and am really excited about it. MY goal is to be in the 180’s in 4 weeks which is a little bit of steep goal but why not.
I think I may sign up for the WW online not sure yet.

Ok, if you’ve heard of these shoes you know they’re supposed to be the greatest thing for weight loss since… oh, I don’t know… Slim Fast. Well, I’m not impressed.

Tammy introduced me to this concept and I jumped on the bandwagon faster than you could say “Fit.” Ordered them, sight unseen, from an online store called ShoeDawg. (free shipping and returns, btw) Got them Monday and was soooo excited to try them out. Upon first putting them on my feet, I didn’t really see what the hype was about, but still wanted to give them a chance.
Well, I walked in them yesterday- according to my pedometer, I walked 3 miles (to be exact). The result? My feet hurt. Huh? These shoes that are supposed to feel like you’re floating on air are hurting my feet? WTH??? But, sad as it is, it’s true. My feet hurt WHILE I was walking- the arches. Then, later that night and this morning my heels hurt, too. AND, I’m not feeling what everyone raved about- like I had a workout in my gluts, thighs, and calves. NOTHING there.
I’m so disappointed.
I’m planning to write/call the company today to see what they have to say. After all, these are not inexpensive shoes… maybe they’ll recommend a different style.
Tammy and Aaron- you’ll have to update when you get yours! (although I know Tammy’s already tried them and loved them)

So, today is my weigh in day. The results? I’ve lost 4 pounds! That’s the good news. The bad news is that Weight Watchers took a point away because I’m at a new weight. WTH? I NEED those points! lol *sigh*
I’ve been doing pretty good with exercising- way better than my eating! lol Yesterday, I decided to walk to Subway while the kids rode their bikes so they could get some ice cream. It’s about a mile, maybe a little further. The way there was pretty good, but on the way back Ainsley decided she’d had just about enough of the stroller. Poor thing was sweaty from laying in it. I was sweaty from walking. But, the only way to calm her down was to pick her up, rock and bounce her, and try like hell to get her to take the pacifier. That routine would appease her for about a block and then we had to do it again. It was the longest, hottest, most frustrating walk of my life. lol But, I guess it paid off according to the scale.

So, I signed up for Weight Watchers yesterday. It’s cool to be able to track what I’m eating- just as I suspected, I’m eating way more calories then I thought! For example, MY bowl of Frosted Flakes is SEVEN points! What??!! So, I went over my point allowance yesterday, but I was able to “borrow” from exercise points, so it worked out ok. I think the point tracker tool will really help me with the diet part…
I also walked 2.5 miles yesterday! It was SO hot, but the kids rode their bikes and I pushed Ainsley all the way into our little town to go to the post office and library. It felt good to be actively doing something to get on my way to “hot mama” status.
Today I’m going to do abdominals and weight lifting (assuming Ainsley allows this, of course) :).

So I decided to swallow my dignity and post a picture. I didn’t gain a TON of weight with my recent pregnancy, but I had so much to lose BEFORE I got pregnant that it’s a little overwhelming to think of the road ahead. I’ve lost 13 pounds, but most of that was immediately following the birth, so it’s been pretty slow going, I guess. In my defense, I wasn’t allowed to really do anything in the way of diet and exercise until this last week and I still have to build up slowly. Plus, I can’t really diet because I’m breastfeeding.

Ok, so I am really bad about updating. It just seems that these last few months have been so full of test and triumphs that I totally lost track of time.
I weighed myself this morning and I have lost a total of “drum role please” 16 pounds. YEAH
Is it because of the P90??? Well, some of my weight lose is because of the P90 but most of it is due to eating correctly and portion control. I have been using Weight Watchers and it is working great for me.
P90 does work for those that can commit to the time it takes to do the videos. I just need to wait until after the kids go back to school or if Aaron wants start doing it in the morning again.
But anyway that’s my update.

Week 2 wasn’t a great week for me with the excise or diet. I did really well up until Thursday night. I worked out every day followed a good eating plan with my WW and I even lost 4 more pounds of fat.
But that was it after Thursday I haven’t touched the DVDs nor watched what I eat. Right now I am on my third week and haven’t done anything so this is my confession so that I get back into working out and dieting! After loosing those 4 additional pounds I gained all 4 pounds back so tonight after Joshua’s residual I will get back into it, and I did follow my WW plan today so I hope to loose the 4 pounds AGAIN and an additional 2 (crossing fingers).

I am horrible at eating the right foods all the time and I am even worse at making sure that I eat the appropriate amount of calories each day. For some reason I either go way over or way under never perfect. Since I have started the P90 system I have been really trying to watch what I eat but I think I still may be taking to many calories in even though I have lost 5 pounds since starting P90.
So, I have gotten on Weight Watchers program (WW). I know its a lot of work counting all the points and making sure I stay in my daily allotted point value but its something I can actually stick with. With WW I also know how much to eat to make sure I loose weight because if I don’t eat enough by body thinks I am starving if I eat to much you don’t loose the weight (*what a mess).
I hope that at my next check in which will be next Monday I will have lost some more poundage. I will be getting a new scale this weekend because my scale also has that demon in it that Meg described in her post.
